Looking for Dr. Seuss Ideas

With the March just around the corner, I am looking for some new Dr. Seuss ideas.  My school is interested in coming up with a new assembly instead of the usual play they act out.  If you have anything fun, I would love to see or hear about your idea.  Leave me a comment or a link to your blog and I will feature your idea.  Thanks!

I did some sweets for a baby shower recently that was Dr. Seuss themed. I don't know if you're looking for baked goods or crafts. Here is the link:

How about have the kids make up their own Dr. Seuss poems?

We had a local restaurant owner who held the world record for reading "Sam I Am" the fastest, come to our assembly. How about having a champ from different grade levels read their favorite Dr. Suess the fastest? Maybe have the last showdown on stage? The kids get a kick out of the mess ups and its all for fun anyways.
Good Luck!

We have a week long celebration with a different Silly Seuss theme each day. For example, on Monday we might have silly hair day, Tuesday wear your clothes backwards, etc. Friday is always pajama day, and the kids LOVE it! We also make Cat in the Hat hats for the kids to wear and take home (they are made out of paper and stapled to a sentence strip) and of course eat Green Eggs & Ham!

I would be happy to email you the complete list of daily activities that we send home for family participation.
